Clark Power is a Port Alberni son; born and raised in the Valley he has a fundamental understanding of the area, its people, and the shared tradition of hard work. Professionally focused early, Clark achieved his Real Estate License at the age of twenty-three and has spent his career gaining the trust of his growing clientele through exemplary service. His goal-orientation translates into standout customer service as Clark believes “your goal is my goal”. He does this by old-fashioned listening, knowing the market, straight talk, and collaborating with other Realtors to satisfy clients. In addition, he was a licensed Mortgage Consultant for 4 years, making his extensive knowledge second-to-none. This standard of excellence has led to his membership in the RE/MAX President’s Club and the RE/MAX 100% Club. Yet, it is return business and referrals from happy customers that prove his worth. Mentored by his Father, Clark understood what true success meant from a young age. Clark’s Dad, Blaine Power, was a faller by trade and took pride supporting his family with a meat-and-potatoes strategy of showing up ready to work hard every day. Clark took this strategy to heart by working hard, but putting his wife Erin and son Blake first. In fact, his In-Laws Lloyd and Shirley Fairley live next door, his Mother BJ Power lives just around the corner, and his sister Lora Jones and her family live five minutes away. This close-knit family demonstrates the true essence of Port Alberni – inclusive, safe, and welcoming.
Clark’s Father’s commitment to working with his hands was an important example growing up. As proof, Clark has fully renovated his own home, learning all stages of construction, and most importantly finishing the job; an experience that offers clients a unique perspective when assessing properties. Furthermore, his Dad’s example translated into a shared passion for drag racing. Enjoying the races with his Father inspired Clark to purchase a 1970 Dodge Dart and take up drag racing after his Father passed away. The Dart’s 500 cubic inch Indy Motor combined with its NOS Fogger System has accelerated car and driver to 175 mph at the Alberni Airport quarter mile, fast enough for a 5th place finish and a share in the prize money. Currently, Clark is re-building his Father’s original 1969 440 Hurst Barracuda with a twin turbo big block in anticipation of a 6-second quarter mile at 200 mph or better. Parallel to his professional career, racing has taught Clark to take risks, develop knowledge through experience, and trust his skill in order to succeed.

With more than 25 years as a professional in the construction trade, a decade as a licensed home inspector and in his second year as a licensed REALTOR® Al McCulloch is the ultimate triple threat. Al is an outstanding resource for buyers thanks to his sharp eye for craftsmanship and familiarity with quality materials.
Born and raised in Port Alberni, Al shares a strong work ethic and belief in accountability with the Clark Power Team. Al’s good nature endears him to clients and he loves to show homes – every home available, but his aim is not to make the sale. Instead, he acknowledges he is “not just selling real estate, I’m building friendships for life.” Always the consummate gentleman Al is happy to go beyond the expectation to ensure his clients are confident in their choices. His diplomatic sensibility is a natural draw for colleagues and customers equally; Al brings people together, helps them to build their dream, and he gets the deal done.
Al is an Alberni Valley kid, who grew up with hardworking parents that taught him the values of honest work, respect for diversity, and to help your neighbours when they are in need. As a result, Al has grown into a doer, a mentor, and a friend. He is the first to volunteer, and has coached hundreds of Valley kids in hockey, baseball, and softball since he was seventeen years old. Al served as Alberni Valley Community Football President from 2006 – 2007 and as President of Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association from 2008 – to present. He shows his character with his actions. Al’s leadership roles are balanced by his good-guy nature. He brings people together with his sense of humour, intelligence, and confidence.
Clients are at ease with Al. Al is happiest when at home with wife Stacey and their sons Creighton and Carson, who are now planning their own futures. The McCulloch Family personifies the Valley life in a renovated heritage home overlooking the canal, with a rambling garden full of flowering shrubs and organic vegetables, and enjoying the comfort brought by an extended family and life-long friends nearby. In his time alone Al returns to what he loves best, woodworking with his hands; a fundamental practice that demonstrates Al’s work ethic, his preference not to take the easy road, and his appreciation for craftsmanship.
